blog 3 intro . . .

The captains from both Hamilton Southeastern and Fishers jog out to the center of the football field; all eyes are on them for the next few moments. The two captains exchange words and then shake hands. The referee explains the coin toss as each of them stare dead into each other’s eyes showing no sense of fear, while deep down each of them are frantic and nervous hoping that they will win the toss. The coin is flicked and flips through the air in slow motion. The captain’s minds are racing with thoughts as these few moments move in slow motion. The stadium is so loud that they can hardly hear themselves think. The rivalry and Mudsock trophy are now in the hands of these two teams.
